AION Opens New Flagship EV Showroom in Nepal
CG Motors has officially inaugurated the new AION flagship showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu, further strengthening the brand’s presence in Nepal’s growing electric vehicle market.
The showroom was formally inaugurated by Managing Director of CG Corp Global, Mr. Nirvana Chaudhary, alongside representatives from GAC International and GAC AION, including Mr. Raymon Wong.
Speaking at the launch event, CG Motors highlighted its commitment to promoting sustainable mobility and expanding access to premium electric vehicles in Nepal. With the opening of the AION flagship showroom, customers can now explore the latest AION models and experience advanced EV technology firsthand.
AION’s SUVs have gained strong recognition globally for their modern design, innovative features, and performance-focused engineering.
The AION V, one of the brand’s key models, is equipped with a 75.3 kWh battery pack and offers a driving range of up to 650 km (NEDC). Designed for both city and long-distance driving, it also features 100 kW motor output, 240 Nm maximum torque, and 185 mm ground clearance.
The showroom also features the AION Y, a smart and stylish EV designed for urban lifestyles. Combining practicality, comfort, and family-friendly usability, the AION Y delivers a premium electric driving experience.
CG Motors stated that the launch of the new showroom reflects its continued focus on expanding Nepal’s EV ecosystem and introducing world-class electric mobility solutions. The company also plans to further strengthen its charging network and after-sales support across the country.
Located in Thapathali, Kathmandu, the new AION flagship showroom allows customers to explore the full AION lineup and experience the brand’s latest innovations in electric mobility.
